In the documentary, filmmaker Dr. Delaney Ruston finds herself at a loss on how to help her own teens as they struggle with their emotional well-being. She tries to understand these challenges, and how parents and educators can empower teens to overcome mental health challenges and build emotional agility, communication savvy, and stress resilience.

Covering an array of different stories from a wide sampling of families with a spectrum of challenges, the film offers approaches in schools that prove relevant beyond the classroom, surprising insights from cognitive researchers, psychologists, and thought leaders that reveal evidence-based methods to support mental wellness.
