Council Rock Grad, Young Father Dies At 28, Fundraiser Launched

A fundraiser has been launched for the family of a 2008 Council Rock North grad and new father who died suddenly earlier this month.

The Newtown community has come together to support the young family of a 28-year-old local resident and 2008 Council Rock North graduate who died suddenly earlier this month.

Erik W. Storjohann passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 10, his obituary says. A GoFundMe online fundraiser was launched to support his infant daughter, Ella Rose. That fundraiser has raised nearly $12,000 as of Monday morning.

The details surrounding Storjohann's death are not clear. His obituary says he was employed as a project manager with Antolino Construction in Washington Crossing.

Erik W. Storjohann passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 10th at the age of 28. He will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother and friend. He had a larger than life presence and a passion for making others smile. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent his time fishing, boating, and riding or driving anything with a motor. A jack of all trades, he could fix anything, and he could always be counted on to help a friend in need.
Born November 24th, 1989, Erik graduated from Council Rock High School North in 2008 and was a lifelong resident of Bucks County.

He thoroughly enjoyed his job as a project manager with Antolino Construction where he was treated like family. He will be missed dearly by his partner Dana Castelli and their beautiful daughter Ella Rose. He was preceded in death by his brother Scott Storjohann, and survived by his parents, Mark and Marybeth (Quake) Storjohann, his brother Kyle and sister Dana, his grandmother Maureen Quake, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that Erik considered his extended family, particularly his lifelong friends Mikey and Frank Antolino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing for Erik on Sunday, March 18th, at Swartz Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave, Newtown, PA 18940 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with services to follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Erik can be made to a college savings account set up for his daughter, Ella Rose, at GoFundMe.com/ellarosefund.
