Council Rock Hosting E-Waste Recycling Event This Spring

Good news if you are planning on doing some spring cleaning: Council Rock School District is planning an e-waste recycling event in May. Most items are free to recycle.

The e-waste recycling event will be held Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Council Rock High School South, 2002 Rock Way, Holland.

During the event, residents can recycle the following items:

  • Cell phones
  • Personal computers ($30 fee for monitors)
  • Laptops
  • Printers
  • Wires
  • Video games
  • Televisions ($30 fee for all except LCD/LED screens)
  • Items containing freon, like refrigerators and AC units, will not be accepted.
