E-Waste Recycling Drive This Saturday At Council Rock North

You can recycle most electronics free of charge this weekend at an event Saturday at Council Rock North.

If you've done your spring cleaning and have a few electronics to get rid of, we have some good news. There will be an e-waste recycling event Saturday, June 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Council Rock High School North, 62 Swamp Road, Newtown. Participants should enter the school from Green Lane.

During the event, residents can recycle the following items:

  • cell phones
  • personal computers
  • laptops
  • printers
  • wires
  • video games
  • TVs and more (there is a $25 cash-only charge for televisions and monitors, except for LCD/LED)

Items with freon, like refrigerators and AC units, will not be accepted.
