BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Jennifer Marie (Matuza) Krasna enjoyed going to the beach, reading, camping, hiking, cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams, and celebrating holidays with her extended family.

Her greatest love, however, was spending time with her 2-year-old son, Ty, whose favorite person in the world was his mommy. And she was very much looking forward to making more memories and watching him grow up with his little brother, Cade.

But days after giving birth to her second son, the 30-year-old Bucks County mother of two died unexpectedly on Nov. 28, leaving her husband and best friend, Jesse, a Warminster teacher and Council Rock basketball coach, devastated, and their extended circle of friends and colleagues in shock.

"Amazing mother, devoted wife, beloved daughter, passionate teacher, and an irreplaceable friend are descriptions that hardly scratch the surface of the remarkable woman who was taken from us too soon," said Brianna Plaxe of Limerick, who organized a Support the Krasna Family GoFundMe page, which has raised in excess of $200,000 for the family.

According to the GoFundMe page, Jennifer made it her top priority to surround herself with a strong community of friends and family.

"She never let anyone question what they meant to her and valued every second she spent with the people she loved. She cherished the beautiful life she and Jesse built. We are heartbroken, and our lives are forever changed without her here."

Born in Langhorne, Jennifer was raised in Morrisville and graduated from Pennsbury High School in 2011. She was a member of the 2009 SOL National Division Champion Girls Volleyball Team. After graduating from Pennsbury, she studied Early Grades Education at the West Chester University Honors College and obtained her Master's degree in literacy from Cabrini University.

Jennifer worked at Charlestown Elementary School in Malvern as a first and second grade teacher for eight years. At Charlestown Elementary, she was known to have helped her students develop a passion for learning.

"A beloved member of the Great Valley community, Jennifer touched the lives of countless families because of the love and care she showed her students each day," reads her obituary.

Her viewing will be held on Sunday, December 4 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral will follow at 12 p.m.

According to her obituary, Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jesse; her two sons Ty (2) and Cade (newborn); her parents, Len and Kathy Matuza; brother Ryan and his wife Sarah; brother Adam and his wife Melissa; and brother Sean and his wife Kiersten. Jennifer was also adored by her six nieces and nephews, Abby, Ethan, Hannah, Lily, Wyatt and Owen; her maternal grandfather Ken Larson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also dearly loved by her mother and father-in-law, Jodi and Andy Krasna and her sister-in-law, Lindsay.

"It is important to Jennifer's family that Ty and Cade grow up knowing just how special their mom was," reads her obituary. "Please use the link to share a memory with or a sentiment about our beloved Jennifer."

In lieu of flowers, friends and family can contribute to the GoFundMe page that will support Jesse, Ty and Cade with current and future expenses.
