NEWTOWN, PA —The Council Rock School District has received a donation of $10,632 from the Giant Food Companies to help students and families in need.

The money was raised through the company's "Feeding School Kids Rounding Up" initiative in which grocery store customers have the option of “rounding up” their grocery purchases to the nearest dollar or converting their earnings points into a donation to support public school district food programs.

This is the third year that Giant has donated to Council Rock through the program.
