Public Invited To Greater Newtown Area Business Expo

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Business Association (NBA) will spotlight its diverse and growing business community when it stages its free Business Expo on Tuesday, April 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rafters located at 101 Friends Lane.

Under the leadership of NBA co-chairs Craig Turet (Curtin & Heefner) and Victoria Davis (Univest Bank), NBA Expo 2024 promises to be a vibrant celebration of community, culinary delights, and local entrepreneurship.

"The NBA Expo is a cherished annual event that embodies the spirit of Newtown," says Craig Turet, longtime NBA board member and NBA Expo co-chair. "Our community is known for coming together to support local businesses and for fostering meaningful connections. This year, attendees can explore offerings from more than 50 local service providers, restaurants, and businesses, all under one roof at Rafters Venue in Newtown!

“We have everything covered,” continues Turet. “We have banks, financial services and accountants. All Saints Cemetery will be joining us this year. We have contractors and realtors. We have a janitorial service. We have eye care professionals and dentists. It’s truly a cross section of the business community,” said Turet.

Some of the new vendors this year include Bucks County Dental, Acre Windows and Doors, Simply Cabinetry Keystone Answering Service and Primary Prevention Centers.

The Newtown Township Police Department will also be there, giving them a chance to mingle with the business community, said Turet.

“What’s nice about this expo is not only do you have potential customers meeting businesses you have businesses doing business with each other, which makes it such a pleasure,” said Turet.

The expo also invites the community to embark on a culinary journey through some of Newtown's finest eateries.

From the savory flavors of The Borsht Belt and Piccolo Trattoria to the healthy goodness of Playa Bowls, as well as treats from local favorites like Newtown Bagel and home food services like Passanante’s, there will be something to satisfy every palate.

In addition to the mouthwatering cuisine, attendees will have the chance to win exciting prizes generously provided by participating businesses. From gift certificates to exclusive offers and giveaways, there will be plenty of chances to win big while showing support for local enterprises!
