Newtown Car Wash To Benefit Council Rock North Choirs

NEWTOWN, PA — Members of the North Choirs will trade their music for buckets of soapy water on Sunday, April 28.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. they will be washing cars at the headquarters of the Newtown Ambulance Squad on Eagle Road across from ACE Hardware.

Donations will be accepted via cash and Venmo.

Council Rock North has a vibrant choral department consisting of three ensembles: Symphonic Choir, NorthVoice, and Rhythm of the Rock.

The North Choirs perform a wide variety of repertoire, from classical to pop and everything in-between, singing and competing throughout the region and beyond. Every 3 to 4 years, choir students have the opportunity to participate in a concert tour, with recent trips to Portugal, Spain, and this past spring break, to Texas.

• Spring Concert, May 16 at 7 p.m. at Council Rock North High School.
• NorthVoice at Newtown Presbyterian Church, May 23 at 7 p.m.
• NorthVoice in Newtown Memorial Day Parade, Monday, May 27 at 9 a.m. in Newtown Borough and Newtown Township.
