Newtown Creek Coalition Launches Photography Contest

NEWTOWN, PA — The Newtown Creek Coalition is now accepting entries for its 2019 Photography Contest. The theme of the contest is "Newtown Creek."

To enter, submit a black-and-white or color photograph of up to 11" X 17." Entries will be accepted from now through April 26, 2019."

Photographs should "best represent your creative expression of the Newtown Creek," according to contest organizers.

There will be awards for two divisions:

13 yrs and above

- Grand Prize: $250.00
- Honorable Mention: $20.00

12 yrs and below

- Grand Prize: $50.00
- Honorable Mention: $20.00

Winners will be announced at a reception on May 3, 2019. Plus, all entries will be on display at The Countryside Gallery and Custom Frame Design, 2 S. State Street, Newtown from May 3- 8, 2019.
