Obituary: Bill Yost Of Newtown, 54

Obituary: ​William J. "Bill" Yost of Newtown passed away on Friday, November 30. He was 54.

William J. “Bill” Yost of Newtown passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 surrounded by the love of his wife and family at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. He was 54.

Bill was the loving husband of Patricia S. Stein Yost. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of William J. Yost Sr. of Langhorne and the late Nanette Mika Yost. Bill graduated from Council Rock High School in 1982 and from Rider University in 1986. He enjoyed a long career as the manager of Golden Beverage (previously Newtown Beverage) in Langhorne. He was also a familiar face at the Kopper Kettle in Feasterville where he tended bar part time.

Bill was an avid sports fan and was especially fond of Alabama Crimson Tide and Philadelphia sports teams. He spent every Sunday morning attending mass at St. Bede the Venerable with his family. Bill was devoted to his family and treasured spending time with them, especially countless vacations in Ocean City, NJ. He will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to his wife and his father, Bill is survived by his children Katlyn and Michael Yost; his siblings, Lisa Schultz (Rick) and Robert Yost (Cindy) as well as countless nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

All are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954 and to Bill’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. His interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to the NAN Foundation, PO Box 1647, Southampton, PA 18966.
