'Purple Piano: A One-Man Tribute To Prince' At Newtown Theatre

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will present “Purple Piano: A One-Man Tribute to Prince” featuring Marshall Charloff on Sunday, April 7 at 4 p.m.

Prince’s final performances were solo piano shows. Purple Piano features Prince’s hits, masterfully delivered with vocal and solo piano. It’s an interactive, intimate, and highly entertaining show that weaves together the highlights of Prince’s catalog through Marshall’s musicianship and mastery of audience engagement.

Marshall has spent more than a decade establishing himself as the world’s leading Prince tribute artist. He recorded with Prince on the album “94 East,” on which he plays both keyboards and bass guitar and Prince is on lead vocals.

Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $42 per person or $37 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $52 at the door on the day of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.

Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show. The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
