Registration Open For Bucks County Senior Games

Scheduled events include biking, cornhole, table tennis, pickleball, bocce, chess, bowling and more.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging is calling on seniors who relish camaraderie, competition and fun to sign up for the 41st Annual Bucks County Senior Games.

The games are set to begin Wednesday, May 29, with the Senior Games Kickoff event at the Newtown Campus of Bucks County Community College.

Competitions are scheduled from June 5 through June 11 at senior centers and other locations throughout the county.

Participation in the Senior Games is open to anyone 50 or older, and is inclusive of people of all skill and ability levels.

Registration includes a Senior Games t-shirt and lapel pin, as well as a free lunch provided by Independence Blue Cross at the kickoff event. Registration closes at 4 m. May 15.

“The Senior Games are a fantastic opportunity to get outside, get some exercise, get together with old friends and maybe even make some new ones,” said Kathy Bennett, director of the Area Agency on Aging. “The games are full of fun and can easily become a highlight of your summer. We hope you’ll consider joining us.”
