The former President is scheduled to attend a private fundraiser at the Newtown Athletic Club in Newtown Township. The fundraiser is closed to the public and is by invitation only.

According to a social media posting, Right For Bucks is organizing the Street Rally to be held in the right of way at the intersection of Penns Trail and Pheasant Run from 1 to 3 p.m.

"All patriots will spread out and line the designated rally area," says the posting. "While we supply flags and signs, be creative and bring your own, but remember, local liberal media will be looking for any reason to describe this event other than what it's intended. Flags and signs will not overhang the roadway or disturb traffic.

"Our goal is to rally Patriots and support President Trump. It's our only goal," the posting says.

Newtown Township Police Chief John Hearn said on Wednesday that his department is prepared for Saturday's "high profile event" and would be working with the Secret Service "to make sure there's safe passage and an operational plan in place to handle any hazards which may occur."

The chief added that motorists should expect a brief closure of the Newtown Bypass when the motorcade arrives and departs.
