Warning For Storm With 60 MPH Winds, Hail Issued In Bucks Co.

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued in Bucks and Montgomery counties Wednesday afternoon as forecasters track a storm with 60 mph wind gusts and penny-sized hail.

The National Weather Service issued the warning just after 2:05 p.m. It extends through 2:45 p.m.

According to forecasters, the storm was located over Bryn Athyn and is moving north at 15 mph.

Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible, the weather service said.

Impacted locations include Bensalem, Lansdale, Doylestown, Hatboro, Souderton, Ambler, Jenkintown, Chalfont, Hatfield, Rockledge, Yardley, Newtown, Abington, Langhorne, Bryn Athyn, Ivyland, Fricks, Feasterville-Trevose and Richboro.

The following highways are also included in the warning: Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 336 and 357 and I-95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 36 and 40.
