Wildflowers, Fall Handmade Market At Hortulus Farm In Wrightstown

Fresh-cut flowers, more than 30 handmade home goods and decor featured at the farm garden and nursery.

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — The public is invited to experience a Wildflower Weekend and a Fall Handmade Market at the Hortulus Farm and Nursery in Wrightstown on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The farm's blooming wildflower field has been transformed into a floral wonderland, featuring an enchanting array of colorful zinnias. Visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in the lingering charm of summer and create memories amidst nature's vibrant palette.

The farm is inviting visitors to stroll through the field and cut their own bouquets. The farm also offers an opportunity to capture stunning photos amidst the blooming wildflowers or indulge in whimsical touches with freshly made flower crowns and bouquets available for purchase.

"Our Wildflower Weekend is a celebration of the extended summer, where nature's beauty continues to grace our farm with a kaleidoscope of colors," says Jon Kontz , executive director of Hortulus. "Seeing the grounds brimming with families connecting amidst nature is truly our
greatest joy. We are delighted to continue nurturing this sense of togetherness and wonder through our Wildflower Weekend, offering elegant and thoughtful nature-based programming that brings the community closer to the artistic brilliance of our natural surroundings. We extend
a heartfelt invitation to everyone, young and old, to join us in savoring these magical moments when families unite around activities in nature."

Hortulus Farm is also hosting a Fall Handmade Market on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Discover and shop more than 30 local artisans featuring unique artworks, handmade home goods, and decor.

In addition, Kontz said visitors can enjoy live music from local musicians, children's crafts and sensory tables, farm animals, and food trucks.

Sum Pig food truck will be serving gourmet, locally sourced food including sandwiches, nachos, tacos, BBQ and more. Jamie Lynn's Gourmet Popsicle Cart will be serving all natural popsicles in a variety of flavors. Homemade sweet treats and pastries will be available in the market area. Plus coffee will be served in the cafe.

Hortulus Farm is located at 60 Thompson Mill Road, Wrightstown 18940. The garden shop will also be open on Fridays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. September to December.
