Power Restored In Upper Dublin Twp. Neighborhoods

PECO said about 1,200 customers lost power Monday night in the township's Glenside and Oreland sections.

UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA —Power has been restored for residents in the Oreland and Glenside area of the township, PECO officials said.

Township officials had reported a "large power outage" impacting residents in the North Hills neighborhood and parts of the East Oreland neighborhood on Tuesday.

Greg Smore, PECO's director of communications, told Patch that about 1,200 customers in the Oreland and Glenside areas were impacted by a power outage Monday night due to two separate incidents with electrical equipment in the area.

The majority of customers were restored overnight Monday; however, 192 customers were without power until repairs could be made.

Service to these customers was restored at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Smore said.
