AIR QUALITY ALERT: How Hot, Sticky Will It Get In Bucks County Today?

It's going to be a hot one Monday. Find out just how bad it will get, when it will reach its peak, and when we will get relief.

It’s going to be another hot day in southeastern Pennsylvania, with temperatures in the 90s and a heat index even higher because of the humidity.

That is going to make the air quality a bit difficult for those who have breathing issues, the National Weather Service warns in an air quality alert issued Monday morning.

The air quality alert is set to remain in effect through midnight Monday, forecasters say, as ozone levels are expected to hit 109 in Bucks County on Monday, according to the forecast at www.airnow.gov.

Tuesday will be even hotter, with the heat index passing 90 degrees by noon hitting a high of 92 by 2 p.m.
