High Bacteria Levels Close Kingston's Camp For Swimming In South Kingstown

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Kingston's Camp in South Kingstown has closed for swimming, the Rhode Island Department of Health said Thursday.

The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) recommended the closure because high bacteria levels make swimming unsafe.

RIDOH officials said they will continue to monitor and review beach water quality regularly to ensure safe bathing throughout summer.
