5 Arrested After Teen Pulls Knife At North Kingstown Burger King: PD

North Kingstown police say a 15-year-old boy was involved in a fight with a 19-year-old man, and it led to the boy brandishing a knife.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Five people were arrested Monday after a 15-year-old boy brandished a knife at a local Burger King, according to North Kingstown police.

Around 6:13 p.m., North Kingstown police were called to the Burger King restaurant at 7041 Post Road for a disturbance involving a knife.

According to police, a 15-year-old boy was involved in a fight with a 19-year-old man inside the restaurant. Police said the fight was over a disagreement between the two teens.

Witnesses told officers the 15-year-old boy pulled a knife during the fight. Police said they confirmed this by reviewing Burger King's security cameras.

After the incident, five people were arrested. They included:

  • Gina Myers, 43, of North Kingstown, was charged with disorderly conduct.
  • Theodore Sears, 19, of Providence, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
  • A 15-year-old North Kingstown boy was charged with felony assault, weapons offenses, and disorderly conduct.
  • A 15-year-old Foster girl was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty.
  • A 12-year-old North Kingstown boy was charged with disorderly conduct.

No injuries were reported. Police said the fight was an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public.
