NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown police warned residents Tuesday to be on the lookout for a door-to-door magazine sale scam.

Police said they've received several complaints about people going to residents' homes and illegally soliciting magazine sales for a fraudulent business named Optimum Reading Services. The magazine sales are a scam, and police urge residents not to purchase from them.
