Betty White: Remembering An American Treasure In Photos

BRENTWOOD, CA — Betty White, regarded by generations of fans as an American treasure, died Friday at her home in Brentwood, California. She was 99.

She leaves behind a legacy that will forever shape pop culture.

White began her career in the 1950s and went on to star in shows like “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” "The Golden Girls," "Hot In Cleveland" and "Boston Legal," marking her as a television mainstay for decades to come.
