Barney The Bull Captured

A bull that had been on the loose for weeks on Long Island, New York, has finally been captured.
The elusive bull, named Barney, was found Wednesday night in the deep woods. His days on the run come with a happy ending, however: Barney will be on no one’s dinner plate.

He’s now settling into his new home at the Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in New Jersey.
"Well, he's been through a lot in the past 12 hours," said Mike Stura, who transferred the bull to the sanctuary, adding the capture was "traumatizing" for the wayward bovine.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Laundrie, the Tampa FBI office said Thursday, as a search continues in Florida for him. Laundrie, 23, has been called a person of interest in the homicide of Petito.

Meanwhile, people who live near Chris and Robert Laundrie, Brian Laundrie’s parents, in North Port, Florida, have been inconvenienced by the national attention drawn from the Petito case.

For some, just leaving home to go to the grocery store can become a complicated ordeal.

"Trying to go to the store to get milk, trying to get out, the cops are like you have to go around the block, can't drive through, stuff like that," Teri Kiss told WFLA News. Read more from Sarasota, Florida, Patch
