Fisher-Price Recalls Donald, Daisy Duck; Detached Heads Can Choke Kids

ACROSS AMERICA — Fisher-Price is recalling over 200,000 Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures because their heads can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Fisher-Price recalled plastic Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures sold in its Little People Mickey and Friends figure pack, the U.S. Product Safety Commission said Thursday.

The company received three reports of the heads detaching from the toys, including one in which a detached head was in a young child's mouth, the agency said.

No injuries have been reported.

The toys were sold at Walmart, Kohls, Meijer, HEB, Kroger and Target stores nationwide, and online on at Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com and other various eCommerce sites from May 2023 through February 2024. They were priced at around $20.

Consumers should immediately stop using the Donald Duck and Daisy Duck figures, take them away from children, and contact Fisher-Price to receive a pre-paid return label to return the two figures and receive a $10 refund, the product safety commission said.

The model numbers are: HPJ88 and HTW75. The model number is located on the bottom of the Goofy figure.

Donald and Daisy Duck figures stand about 3 inches tall, and both have outstretched arms. Donald has a blue shirt with thin yellow stripes, a blue and black hat, and a red bow tie. Daisy has a light purple shirt, turquoise necklace and bracelet, pink shoes, and a pink hair bow.
