ACROSS AMERICA — After a hard-fought game, Team USA was able to tie with the Netherlands 1-1 in the team's second game of the FIFA Women's World Cup in New Zealand. The draw ends Team USA's consecutive unbeaten record of 19 matches.
Lindsay Horan was struck down in the second half of the game only to rise up with a vengeance. Horan scored the game's tying goal in the 62nd minute of the match, getting an assist from Rose Lavelle's corner kick. The women's soccer team will move on to play Portugal on Tuesday at 3 a.m Eastern Time.
