LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A crash involving a school bus with students in the Brambleton area sent four people to the hospital, according to Loudoun County authorities.

The collision of an SUV and school bus was reported around 11 a.m. at Evergreen Mills Road and Ryan Road. Loudoun County Fire and Rescue said there were 19 passengers on the bus, including 12 students and seven adults. Four people were taken to the hospital and have non-life-threatening injuries. Fire and rescue personnel evaluated all people on the scene.

Evergreen Mills Road is expected to be closed for several hours, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. The closure affects the road between Black Branch Parkway to Ryan Road. A hazmat team responded to the scene to address a leak of the school bus fuel tank.
