Missing Girl Walking Dog From Sterling Located

A 14-year-old never returned home after walking her family's dog in Sterling. The sheriff's office said she has been found.

STERLING, VA — A missing teen who didn't come home after walking her dog in Sterling has been found, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The 14-year-old was last seen Wednesday taking her family dog on a walk. She was missing from the Sugarland Run neighborhood of Sterling, which is north of Route 7.

The sheriff's office said Friday that she was last seen in the 1200 block of Elden Street in Herndon and has her dog with her. The dog she was with is a small cream-colored mixed poodle.
