Motorcycle Driver Dies In Ashburn Crash: Sheriff's Office

A crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle killed the motorcycle driver, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

ASHBURN, VA — A motorcycle driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Ashburn Sunday night, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The crash happened around 6:59 p.m. Sunday in the area of Moorefield Parkway and Moorefield Boulevard, which is not far from the Ashburn Metro station. The sheriff's office said the 2002 Honda motorcycle and a 2015 Honda CRV collided. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died before 7 a.m. Monday.

The sheriff's office did not release the identities of the motorcyclist and vehicle driver.
