The 10th Congressional District of Virginia includes the counties of Loudoun, Prince William, Fauquier, Rappahannock, and parts of Fairfax, Manassas City and Manassas Park.

Mike Clancy won the Republican primary for the 10th congressional district seat, and will face Democrat Suhas Subramanyam in the Nov. 5 general election.

They are vying to succeed Rep. Jennifer Wexton, (D-Loudoun) who is not seeking re-election after receiving a progressive supra-nuclear palsy diagnosis, which she described as "Parkinson’s on steroids."

The Virginia Public Access Project labels the 10th congressional district as a competitive district.
Wexton had flipped the seat in 2018 by defeating Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Loudoun). The district covers Loudoun County, part of Prince William County, part of Fairfax County, Fauquier County, Manassas City, Manassas Park City, and Rappahannock County.
