'10th Annual EOD Warrior Foundation Polar Bear Plunge' Feb. 4 in Fredericksburg

For a relatively small price, folks can plunge into the Rappahannock River in support of active duty soldiers or veterans in need.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — For some three hours early next month, flight-of-fancy swimmers either are going to be really cold or really relieved — and given the normal temperatures in February, they're likely to be the former.

It's the 10th Annual EOD Warrior Foundation Polar Bear Plunge, 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 4 at 207 Sophia Street, where a plunge into the Rappahannock River awaits,

EOD stands for explosive ordnance disposal, and all proceeds will go to the organization.
