Flash Flood Warning Wednesday Evening in Fredericksburg

Warning area includes city and Spotsylvania. Timeline and impacts here.

A flash flood warning is in place for the City of Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County until 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Up to 1 inch of rain had already fallen by 5:15 p.m., with an additional 1 inch possible.

Motorists are reminded to “turn around, don’t drown” on flooded roadways. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
