New Emergency Department Opens In Fredericksburg Area: Report

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Mary Washington Healthcare held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week for a new emergency department at Harrison Crossing along Route 3 in Spotsylvania County, according to a report.

The new emergency department, which opened on Monday, is on one side of the building and a newly opened medical imaging at Harrison Crossing is on the other side, the Fredericksburg Free Lance Star reported.

Mary Washington Healthcare also has emergency departments at Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital and stand-alone units at Lee’s Hill and Harrison Crossing, according to the report.
