Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Dog With The Nature Of A Teddy Bear

Cuervo loves a well-rounded life, from snuggling at home to going on outdoor excursions.

Cuervo would make a good pet for someone who likes a cuddly dog at home and an adventurous pup on outdoor excursions.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — At Patch, we regularly feature adoptable pets from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which runs the city's animal shelter and provides community animal services.

One of the available pets is Cuervo. He may look like a dog, but he acts like a puppy and a giant teddy bear. His adoption fees have been pre-paid during December for the Home for the Pawlidays event.

Here's more information on Cuervo:

Cuervo, 7-year-old Male Red and White Dog
Are you looking for all smiles all the time? Then Cuervo might be the guy for you!
Cuervo is a self-described giant teddy bear of a dog. At 7 years old, he's fully an adult, but you'll find yourself surprised by his puppyish nature. He loves carrying around his stuffed toys everywhere he goes and is one of the biggest cuddlebugs you will meet.
But Cuervo is also well-rounded and enjoys his outdoor escapades just as much as he likes hanging out with his favorite people. He's always up for a good walk or a game outside.
Easygoing Cuervo would be a great match for all types of families, and as part of the AWLA's Home for the Pawlidays event, sponsored by Priority Automotive, his adoption fees have been pre-paid through the end of the month. To learn more about Cuervo and schedule time to meet him from his foster home, email [email protected] or call 703.746.4774 (opt. 2).
