ALEXANDRIA, VA — Valentine's Day is approaching, and that could mean showing love to a new furry friend.
At the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, there's a variety of adoptable animals waiting for new families. One of these pets is Zeus, a dog with plenty of love and energy to give humans. He could be a good walking or running partner. He'd also love to show off his training skills and learn more tricks with some help.

Zeus is handsome boy who is full of both energy and love. If you're looking to get off the couch and be more active, Zeus is your guy. He would make a good running partner and certainly could use a little more space than the AWLA can provide him. He would be a great trail buddy as he is really friendly and loves meeting new people.He also has a few things to learn and would do well with someone who is looking to try out their training skills and provide him with the structure and training that a young dog needs. Luckily, he's very food motivated!
