ALEXANDRIA, VA — If you're still working from home, perhaps you're long overdue for an office assistant. That's where Lars the cat comes in.

Lars is one of the adoptable pets from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. Patch regularly features pets from the animal shelter waiting for their forever homes.

Lars could be the cat for you whether you need an office assistant, or a super spy to discreetly observe things happening around your home.

Here's more information from Animal Welfare League of Alexandria:

Lars, 2-year-old Male Gray and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat
International super-spy Lars reporting for duty!
During his time at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, Lars has fulfilled many roles, including Office Assistant, Keyboard Warmer and Interior Designer. But during his stay with one of the AWLA's "Awesome Fosters," he's discovered his true calling: Sneaky Super-spy!
Lars loves to be part of the action, but he also loves observing the action, generally from a far-up place where he can see everything that's happening in a room. The tops of bookshelves, closets and cupboards all offer Lars the perfect vantage point to tape his spy duties super-seriously!
That said, we have no evidence that Lars is actually doing anything with the data he's collected. He's just...watching. And when he's watched enough for the day, you'd better bet he'll be back down to your level, ready for cuddles, pets and the occasional bout of Keyboard Warming.
If Lars sounds like the Super Guy for you, you can meet him from his foster home; schedule time to do so by emailing [email protected] or calling 703.746.4774 opt. 2.
