ALEXANDRIA, VA — Every week, we spotlight adoptable pets from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

The first featured pet of 2023 is Reptar. No, Reptar isn't a green dinosaur from the Nickelodeon series "Rugrats." In this case, she's a chill 8-year-old cat who loves treats, toys and snuggles.

Reptar, 8-year-old Black and White Female Domestic Long-Haired Cat
The only things more striking than Reptar's unique name are her long fluffy coat and her gorgeous yellow-green eyes. Oh, and her luxurious whiskers. At 8 years old, Reptar is a chill gal, though she is always the first to greet her visitors to the cat room. Reptar has a short list of favorite things besides her human companions, including catnip mice — her most preferred toy — and yummy crunchy treats. Reptar is looking for a new family member who can help her keep up with her beauty regime so her lovely coat is always looking its best, and who enjoys a calm, quiet life of snuggles as much as she does. If you'd like to learn more about Reptar, email [email protected] or stop by to meet her at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.
