ALEXANDRIA, VA — Paws in the Park brought dog lovers together Sunday to benefit the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which runs the city's animal shelter. Even though the event is over, there's always time to check out the animal shelter's adoptable pets.

One of the adoptable pets is Romeo, a dog who will give as much love as his name suggests. He would enjoy cuddles with his favorite people and enjoying the fall weather outdoors. His adoption fees are covered thanks to a donor.

Here's more information about Romeo:

Romeo, 2-year-old Male White and Black Terrier Mix
Who's this bundle of love? Why, it's Romeo, of course!
2-year-old Romeo certainly lives up to his name. This charming terrier mix is a total lovebug who enjoys cuddling with his friends nearly as much as he does enjoying the beautiful fall weather in our fair city.
Unlike some other, more fickle Romeos, this boy is a fan of a lot of things, from playing with toys to long walks to a whole lot of treats. He'd love to learn some more tricks, if he has the right best friend to teach him, and he thinks he is smart enough to take on a lot. If you're interested in learning more about Romeo and scheduling time to meet him, please email [email protected] or call 703.746.4774 (opt. 2).
