Abandoned House Fire In Vienna Area Remains Under Investigation

The cause of an abandoned house fire in the Vienna area remains under investigation, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

VIENNA, VA — An abandoned house fire over Memorial Day weekend in the Vienna area remains under investigation, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

Fire units responded around 7:35 a.m. on Saturday, May 27 to the 2300 block of Hunter Mill Road. Crews found an abandoned house and shed engulfed in fire. There were no reported injuries.

Fire investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire. The fire started in two locations — the house and shed. Damages were estimated to be $144,210.
