On the Roads

As of 7:48 a.m., WTOP Traffic reported a crash on eastbound Route 7 after Baron Cameron Ave/Springvale Road in Fairfax County. The left lane is blocked.

As of 7:47 a.m., a disabled vehicle closed the northbound right shoulder on I-95 of Route 619 in Prince William County.

As of 7:41 a.m., a crash on westbound I-66 near the Capital Beltway in Fairfax County has closed the left shoulder.

As of 7:37 a.m., a crash on Route 627 in the area of Choptank Road/Route 1209 in Stafford County closed the northbound thru lanes. Traffic is backed up around 1.5 miles.

As of 7:34 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on eastbound I-66 west of Route 123 in Fairfax County. The eastbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:31 a.m., a crash on northbound I-495 south of Braddock Road in Fairfax County closed the northbound left shoulder.

As of 7:25 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on southbound I-95 north of Fairfax County Parkway in Fairfax County. The southbound left shoulder is closed.

As of 7:22 a.m., a tractor trailer crash closed the southbound left shoulder on I-95 south of Courthouse Road in Stafford County.

As of 7:16 a.m., WTOP Traffic reported a crash on Route 234 near Balls Ford Road in Prince William County.

As of 7:08 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on southbound I-495 south of I-66. The southbound right shoulder is closed.

On the Metro

Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Nov. 5 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.

Due to police activity, D4 and D8 Metrobuses are detouring on Florida Avenue NE at Staples Street, resuming the normal route on Neal Street NE at Trinidad Avenue in Washington, DC.

Due to police activity at Kennedy St NW and 5th Street in Washington, DC, E4 buses may experience delays and possible detours.

Weather

Mostly sunny with a high near 63 and wind gusts as high as 21 mph. At night, clear with a low of 40.
