FAIRFAX, VA — The Fairfax County Animal Shelter has pets for all kinds of lifestyles, even pets beyond the traditional cats and dogs. Take for instance two roosters that are available for adoption.

Christopher Clucken and Friar Cluck are young roosters (male chickens) that can be adopted together or separate. According to one of the adoption profiles, the ideal home would have a barn and "flock of friends" to socialize with.

"We have not one, but TWO roosters who need to be adopted so they can move out of our barn and into their new barn home(s)," the animal shelter wrote in a social media post. "They're young, very handsome, friendly, social little guys!"
