VIENNA, VA — Drivers who roll through a stop sign without coming to a complete stop may want to think twice in the Town of Vienna.

Vienna Police announced it is launching its annual traffic enforcement campaign with a focus on stop sign violations. Drivers will see increased enforcement of traffic violations.

Officers will be issuing citations and reminding drivers to come to a complete stop at a stop sign or flashing red light as well as yielding before entering a crosswalk, intersection or stop line. Drivers caught with stop sign or red light violations could face fines and three demerit points on their driver's license.
