Tip Jar Cash Stolen At Vienna Business: Police

A Vienna business was the victim of a tip jar theft, according to the latest Vienna Police crime report.

VIENNA, VA — Money from a tip jar was stolen from a Vienna business last week, according to the latest crime report from Vienna Police.

The theft happened at Social Burger, 350 Maple Avenue West, around 4:58 p.m. on Oct. 12. According to police, an employee said a woman entered the restaurant and stole cash from the tip jar.

The woman fled in an unknown direction. A suspect description was not available from police.

October 14 4:49 p.m.
An officer responded to the report of three teenagers at an abandoned house. The officer confronted the juveniles as they were leaving the residence. Inside the house, the officer found one of the juvenile's backpacks, alcohol, an empty spray paint can, and fresh spray paint on the walls. The juveniles' parents were notified and responded to pick them up. Petitions are pending in this case.
