WAUKESHA, WI β€” A Waukesha man chased two would-be thieves away from his truck and a different man hit a woman who was walking on the sidewalk, according to Waukesha police logs from Monday to Thursday.

A man climbed in a Waukesha woman's window and took a chair from her kitchen in the 400 block of N. Moreland Boulevard on Tuesday, police logs showed. He later gave the chair back and said he thought he was entering his own house.
