About the tutor
I am a global and passionate 30 year old woman who has traveled to 40 different countries, which has allowed me to pick up on various different cultural nuances throughout my life. I was a competitive ice skater growing up which helped me to understand the importance of teamwork. I also enjoy writing which was another side of my career along with teaching English as a second language to students. I love teaching English because language helps break down barriers and bring people together. I plan to start a PHD online next month in educational studies to expand in my knowledge and become a better teacher and tutor, but will have plenty of time to tutor and teach on the platform.
I have completed my TEFL certificate, and I have teaching experience online, in the classroom, and in athletics, as I taught students how to ice skate in different languages. I speak Arabic and Spanish as well. Teaching is a means to bring the world together through language and education so that the next generation can grow with an open mind and learn how to communicate with curiosity and kindness. I approach each student as if they have their own learning style and will dedicate extra time to them if need be.
I will gladly book a trial lesson with students so that they can see my approach with learning, and see their potential. I am very positive and have a keen eye on where growth needs to be so that students can do their very best.
