About me
Hello! My name is Vincent and I am a studied designer and carpenter from Berlin. Languages are my passion and I love discovering new languages and introducing others to the special features of my own language. I currently live in Japan with my family.
I have several years of experience teaching german in public language schools and institutions in various countries, including Mexico, South Korea and Japan.
I'm a sociable and open-minded person who is happy to help others deepen their knowledge of the German language in an easy-to-understand way. Understanding the logic of German grammar can be frustrating. In my lessons I strive to introduce the difficulties of German language structure in an intuitive and vivid way, and balance grammar units with more accessible language, dialogue and story-oriented learning.

Vincent is very flexible and adaptive to your needs. He is a patient and thoughtful tutor. He writes down all the words and phrases I struggle with during the lesson for future review. Then, he shares those and materials which is extremely helpful. I also appreciate how he gradually introduces new vocab at a gradual pace over lessons, not to overload me with too many things. Every lesson is very relaxed and it is easy to ask questions. I would recommend Vincent to anyone considering learning German. Overall, Vincent is a great tutor and I hope to keep having him teach me! My German lessons are based on acquiring fluency in speaking and understanding German. Instead of monotonously cramming through vocabulary and grammar rules, I try to get my students into a natural flow of speech by slowly increasing the level of dialogue.
Starting from the very beginning. Introducing yourself in german. Daily life subjects: transportation, shopping, appointments.Getting used to the grammar: Tenses, articles, easy verb declensions.
Continuous learning is the key to mastering a language.In my courses I rely on an intensive mix of free speaking, joint analysis of texts and other media in German and grammar exercises.
If required, I offer preparation courses for special language exams and language aptitude tests with intensive study of the relevant exercises and learning material.

Working in a foreign country can be difficult. In my lessons I teach important language rules and norms at work, in the office or among colleagues and explain rules of behavior and peculiarities in the workplace.
Working years in a japanese Kindergarden as a teacher I have gained experience in dealing with children and teaching them languages in a fun and motivating way.
