Griaß di! I'm Verena from Austria and I've been helping German learners on their journey to mastering German for years now :) Languages have always been my passion, so I know what it's like to learn new languages. That's why I feel incredibly grateful when learners learn German with me and I get to accompany them on their journey.

When I'm not teaching or learning languages, you can usually find me in nature, running or in the mountains, where I can best recharge my batteries. I love learning, especially about personal development, but also about nutrition and health, sustainability and finance. I enjoy reading and constantly developing and learning. I am currently learning a lot about EdTech and AI in education because I find it as very important development for the future of learning.

After my Bachelor's degree in “Tourism Management” and Master's degree in “Global Business”, I did a formation at the Goethe Institute to teach German as a foreign language. I I have been teaching learners at levels A1 to B2 for 4 years, both in individual and group settings. I am constantly continuing my education and have attended countless workshops and seminars on teaching, learner motivation, brain & learning etc.

Furthermore, I have a Goethe certificate in "Methodology and Didactics" as well as a Telc certificate which certifies me as a pronunciation trainer.

Also, as I was born in Austria, I am also very familiar with Austrian culture and especially with Austrian German and the dialects in Austria!
