I gave money to girl through my PayPal account and it ended up being a scam and fraud. I disputed the charges , there is a remainder balance. After that Discover sent forms to her for her to fill out and I never heard back. Discover said that she never replied. I was told to wait until January 10 and my balance sad my ***** was gone . I spoke to ****** and she said she was not sure what was going on. ***** told me that I should speak to supervisor. After they went back and forth with PayPal I was told that Discover refuses to give me the ***** back . I need the money refunded back to me to help out my family . Discover is not doing their job , they told me that they wished me luck . PayPal supervisor said that they will speak to BBB about it.Business response

My card and pin was lost and my account had transactions that I did not make the transactions were disputed and discover bank determined the transactions were valid and they were not and I feel the transactions were never looked into because the investigation only went on for a couple days and it was closed and really discover bank can give me my money and close the account and I see how they treat customers then discover bank lied about a recorded conversationBusiness response

The company Discover Financial Services, revoked my credit card, without notifying me, and they have been charging me interest for three years. I don't think it is right freezing my account and charging me interest, for a non activity credit card no longer in use.Business response

On December 30, 2021, Discover Card authorized a balance transfer payment from my credit card account to my Checking account with Chase card. As of January 11, 2022, the funds hadn't arrived at my Chase account.I messaged them (their main customer service number is selling products to people and hanging up if you don't buy) many times and explained that this situation was artificially negatively impacting my credit score. They asked me to submit a form stating both the routing number and the account number of my Chase account. I did, then waited. Nothing happened. I have since then been trying o reach them in every way I can, and besides dropping chat conversations, and selling products to customers calling about pressing card issues and then hanging up on them, I have had no answers, no recourse, no one to even talk to. They say it will take them 30 days to investigate this dispute. It is a simple matter of adding my routing number to my balance transfer request and processing the payment. I have already been charged for (my Discover account is now $11000 higher) which has ground my credit score down to poor from good. But they will not help me, or even get me a real person to talk to **** will be unable to process my home refinance due to a damaged credit score while rates are still reasonable because of Discover card's negligence and mistreatment of customers like me.Business response

My card was lost and funds was used on my card and the charges was disputed and then discover bank issued out a new card and it was activated and in my car with my phone someone took my phone and card out my car and funds was used that was put back on my card and those charges was disputed and discover bank said the changes was valid which they was not now I'm out of my money and I feel the dispute need's to be looked into further because the changes is not valid and I just want my funds put back on my account because I work hard for my money for my money to be taken away from meBusiness response

Discover sends pre-approval for credit cards and pulls credit approves credit card and then requires you to submit a ****-t IRS tax form that the former president of ***************** will not release under constitutional rights.Discover is hurting consumers with their fraudulent practices and should be sued by the federal trade commission for fraudulent practices.id,bank statements and social security card was provided but discover refused to release card that they opened and sent then closed after card was sent but not used causing harm to my credit fraud.Business response

I have sent multiple certified mail letters asking for validation and the method of how they validated multiple fraudulent and questionable items on my credit report and have not received back anything in over 35 days for these accounts that are clearly inaccurate and fraudulent accounts. This creditor is disregarding the law and taking advantage of me and this has caused big stress on my life. The most recent certified letter I sent was 11/25/2021. The attached file is the *** I sent to them. I DEMAND that all the items are deleted and if action is not taken I will *** in small claims court in my city and the company will have to come and represent themselves.Business response

I am a man/natural person and this is not a credit repair company. On 01/05/2022, I was discriminated against as I exercised my right as the consumer/benificiary in a consumer credit transaction when I applied for a credit card with DISCOVER which is a violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. My personal information was used on the application as well as my location information to submit application. From my understanding, banks do not lend money or extend credit as we have been bankrupt since ****. 12 usc 83 - No national bank shall make any loan or discount on the security of the shares of its own capital stock. DISCOVER became trustee to my social security trust as this is a trust action. They deprived me of my rights to extend credit which is a violation of 18 usc 242. They have committed trust fraud, bank fraud, and securities fraud. Each holding a fine from $1,000,000 to $100,000,000 Pursuant to 15 USC 1, 15 USC 2, 15 USC 78ff. I received no benefit which is unauthorized use of my credit card 15 USC 1602(p). In order to clarify that there has not been any false claims of securities, illegal securitizations, trades, hypothecating, interest, and proceeds fraud entry misapplied in my name, as benificiary of the account Pursuant to 15 USC 44 Im asserting my rights to acquire documentary evidence for the books of account as defined in IRS 583. Id like to access record keeping of both journal and ledger credits of the account, as well as ledger and debits of the account, in order to verify the current accounting and taxes related to this account. This will allow me to reaffirm my status as the benificiary and you in fact have been loaned the amount in question. This will also confirm aggravated identity theft as you are conspiring to profit without my knowledge or benefit when you are trustee to my trust. Failure to produce said documents will be deprivation of rights as described before and $10,000 and/or 5yrs in prison for any. You have committed theft byBusiness response

For months I have been fighting with them, constant emails and calls for them not to reply or help. The wrongfully closed my account because of Fraudulent activity, which is FALSE. I attempted numerous times to correct the issue, however they refused to help me with my issue. Since then they have closed the account to my credit card and I have been having trouble making payments because the app and website will not work for me now due to restricted access to the account. I would like for them to reinstate my account to allow me to use my credit card again and resume my scheduled on-time payments per usual.Business response

I have been a credit card customer with ********************** since 2014 and a personal loan customer since 2016. My credit card balance has been 0 for years now. My personal loan account does have balance. Over the years not once did I miss a payment. In ************************** earnings I had to enroll my Discover personal loan account into a debt management program. I have been making payments diligently every month. Only on one occasion, in December 2021, I had to DELAY the *** payment by ONE WEEK. Without reaching out or warning me, Discover immediately gave my details to a debt collection agency. Although the payment has already been credited into the personal loan account a week ago (1/3/2022), today (1/10/2022) I was informed that Discover revoked the charging privileges on my credit card due to a delinquency on the personal loan account. This can potentially damage my credit score. And this is unfair, because my account is not delinquent. Discover did not attempt so much as to send me a message or call me to ask why that one payment was late. Over almost 8 years I have not missed a single payment and when one payment was a week late, they decided to punish me the way I did not deserve.Business response
