An Australian man has sensationally claimed he will only stop cheating on his fiancée once they are married.

The man's mistress, Summer, confronted him live on The Kyle and Jackie O Show and asked him to leave his bride-to-be and stay with her instead.

In a stunning confession, the cheater explained he was 'in a happy relationship' and had every intention of 'getting married soon'.

He told her there was nothing wrong with their illicit relationship - but it could not continue after his wedding because then it would be 'officially' cheating.

'We can't continue this once I'm married,' he said, which prompted radio host Jackie 'O' Henderson to scoff: 'How noble!'

Summer explained she had met the man at his bachelor party and they formed a 'real connection'. She was disappointed to learn he was putting 'an expiration date' on their affair.

But the man continued to insist he 'loved' his fiancée.

He said he had been 'as transparent and open as possible' with Summer, saying their relationship was only ever 'a bit of fun'.

A furious Jackie tore shreds off the cheating groom-to-be.

Staff on the show expressed disbelief

'If you really loved her, why would you want to do something that would really destroy her and hurt her,' Jackie said

'If you really loved [your fiancée], why would you want to do something that would really destroy her and hurt her?' she asked.

Jackie warned his marriage wouldn't last if he was already cheating before walking down the aisle.

The man dodge the question and instead expressed anger at being 'dragged in front of the whole of Australia like this'.

A lady named Summer confronted the man she is having an affair with live on air

Jackie's co-host Kyle Sandilands sided with the cheater, saying Summer had 'done you dirty' by dragging him onto live radio to air their dirty laundry.

Jackie laughed in disbelief, and said Kyle was just blindly following the 'bro code'.

When the clip was posted on TikTok, one user said they recognised the man's voice, adding: 'Not getting married soon, I hope?'

Others called Summer 'delusional' and 'vindictive' for calling out the man on air, while others said she 'did his fiancée a favour'.

One more was 'dying to know if the fiancée finally knows'.

'We need an update,' she wrote.
