  • Now, Pookie has revealed a 'scary' pregnancy update

TikTok sensation Campbell 'Pookie' Puckett has revealed that she suffered a 'scare' during her pregnancy as she shared that she was now seeing a 'specialist' to ensure her baby was healthy.

Over the last few months, users of the video-sharing platform may well have found their For You feeds flooded with references to 'Pookie' - a trend that was spawned by ultra-wealthy influencer Campbell, 32, and husband Jett, 33, whose quirky nickname for his wife helped turn the duo into a viral sensation.

And their fame soared to new heights in June when the designer-clad couple revealed that they were expecting their first baby.

Following the news, the lovebird's channel went from documenting divisive displays of excess, cutesy date night videos, and glamorous getaways to sharing bump updates as they prepared to become parents.

But now Campbell has taken to TikTok to open up about her latest health update that saw her and Jett seeking advice from a specialist.

She opened up about the 'scare' in her most recent video, which has so far amassed more than 792,000 views, as she got ready for a doctor's appointment.

The social media sensation - who was previously embroiled in bitter controversy - captioned the clip: 'Going to see baby today.'

At the beginning of the video, she said she was 'so excited' - adding that she was 'grateful' her mom, who previously caught the attention of social media, was able to attend appointments with her.

'I'm just so grateful that I have her and we can get advice and wisdom from her. We have a lot to learn,' she said before sharing an update.

Campbell said: 'I haven't talked about this but I have been going to the doctor's more often with my pregnancy.

'We had a little bit of a scare and now I see a certain specialist. I'm not really going to go into too much detail but everything is hopefully okay and the baby is healthy.'

She explained that being pregnant had opened her eyes to the various different incidents that could occur while expecting.

'It's just so scary that there's so many different scenarios with pregnancy. This is just your reminder to not compare your pregnancy to anyone else's and trust that everything is going to be okay,' Campbell said before praising her husband.

She said: 'I'm so grateful that I have had Jett to go through this whole process with me. He's just the best and I can't wait to see him be a dad. He is seriously going to be the best dad ever, it makes me so emotional.'

In June, the couple announced that they were expecting and gushed about the news to People

She told the outlet: 'We've always dreamed of becoming parents. Jett and I have been together for nine years, married for six, and I'm most excited to see him become a dad — I've thought about that since I met him.

'Our life has been building up to this moment, and we could not be more excited and blessed to bring another life into the world.

'We're ready for this next phase in our life and this new purpose as parents.'

Their baby is expected to be born in November.

Just a few months ago, the designer-clad duo found themselves embroiled in a fierce controversy after images of Campbell 'cosplaying as a slave owner' at a plantation-themed party during her days as an Ole Miss college student emerged.

Several unearthed photos of Campbell dressed in 'southern plantation glam' while attending the event were posted on TikTok and Reddit - sparking a wave of backlash against the newly-minted influencer.

The images - which were posted on a Reddit 'influencer snark' page - showed Campbell attending what appears to be an Antebellum-themed party, otherwise known as an 'Old South' party, at the University of Mississippi.

Antebellum plantation-themed parties take inspiration from the period before the American Civil War, when wealthy white planters wielded the majority of power in the south - and often owned Black slaves.

Campbell addressed the controversy on her Instagram account and apologized for her actions.

In a post shared on Campbell's Instagram Story, she said: 'As some of you may have seen, some old photos of mine recently resurfaced. At the time these photos were taken, I was 20. I didn't fully understand the impact of my actions the way I do now, 12 years later.

'I fully apologize for the harm this may have caused for some and take full responsibility. Jett and I love sharing our lives with you all and getting to know our community on such an intimate level.

'Because we live our lives so publicly, everything is on the internet, even my mistakes. We hope to continue to bring you with us on our journey as we continue to learn and grow.'

The lovebirds are certainly no strangers to online uproar over their content - with their ascent to online fame sparking a wave of debate from users questioning whether their regular video posts were in fact 'cute' or far too 'cringe'.

A typical video will see Campbell glammed up alongside a beaming Jett as she runs through her outfit choices.

The clothes include a selection of designer pieces alongside the odd Amazon find, with Jett also offering the lowdown of his outfits.

However, the main talking point has become Jett's now much-memed commentary on his wife's extravagant get ups.

'Pookie is looking absolutely fire tonight,' he states in one video, as Campbell shows off her outfit.

In another, she dons a pink dress from Helsa on Revolve, black La Femme heels and her trademark $11,000 Hermes Kelly bag.

'It's date night and Pookie looks particularly amazing tonight. I would call this a happy dress,' Jett says, prompting giggles from his wife.

The video's comments are filled with adoring fans offering their opinion on the outfit and the couple.

Campbell currently has more than 1.1 million TikTok followers and has gained more than 58.5 million likes.

The Atlanta-based couple met at a wine bar in Philadelphia after Jett approached her. They dated for 10 months before getting engaged.

Campbell was a former flight attendant.

Wharton-educated Jett works in mergers an acquisitions in the dental industry.

They have been building their brand since 2020, but have recently taken off in part thanks to the discussion around Campbell's nickname.
