Swimwear designers reveal the top trends for all shapes and sizes - as VERY racy high cut swimsuits appear on beaches across Australia

If recent times are to be believed, women the world over are shunning regular swimsuits in favour of high-cut, risque designs that flaunt their figures for the perfect Instagram shot. 

However Natalie Croker and Amanda Bergin from Hyams Beach Swim have revealed that real women in fact aren't so into this style of swimwear - and instead prefer trends that suit all sorts of shapes and sizes. 

The Australian label founders told FEMAIL they are seeing an increase in supportive designs for women with fuller bust sizes.

In their own label they have received great feedback on their Crystalline Bandeau Top, which caters for women up to an F cup. They said they are expanding in their new collection to include DD++. 

The women said they are also seeing a rise in women shopping for versatile pieces, which can be worn either as swimwear or a top.

'So many of our customers not only love our one piece designs but love how they can wear it as a bodysuit and pair it with their favourite skirt or pants - it is not only versatile but also cost effective,' the women said.

'We are big on size diversity and will be expanding our size range from S-XL to XS-XXL in 2019 with a goal to increase this even further in 2020,' they added.   

Ms Croker and Ms Bergin said they believe that the industry is finally beginning to listen to consumers and becoming realistic in representing their customers.

The style is still their most popular design, the pair revealed to Daily Mail Australia.   

'Our customer is a women who wants a swimsuit that is supportive, flattering and stylish that they can wear for seasons to come,' they said.

Ms Croker and Ms Bergin said they support all women in wearing whatever they like no matter the coverage

'We personally focus on designs we believe the every day Aussie women wants to wear down to the beach or by the pool, which steer clear from "Instagram fads",' they said.

The women said while they don't believe the Instagram trends are damaging they are unrealistic and a fast fashion trend.
