Girl Power! The Spice Girls then and now...
The Spice Girls are back. Well, four of them are anyway.
Yep, Baby, Scary, Sporty and Ginger are back in the rehearsal room, putting together the ultimate reunion tour.
It kicks off in Dublin at the end of May and if you've been lucky enough to get tickets then you'll no doubt be replaying their hits and throwing up peace signs while shouting 'Girl Power' at every opportunity.
It's been over 20 years since these wild things first launched their assault on pop culture and the world was never the same again.
So in anticipation of their 2019 tour we couldn't resist taking a look back at our favourite ever girl group to see how they've changed since the late 1990s.
So come on, SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!
Emma Bunton AKA Baby Spice
Emma Bunton AKA Baby Spice was all about mini dresses and flatform shoes in the 90s and she's still rocking pink and platforms in 2019
Back in the 1990s when the Spice Girls began their world take over, Emma Bunton's style was cute and girly. With her youthful looks and blonde hair in bunches, it was no surprise she was christened 'Baby'.
A classic look for Emma back then would have been a very short babydoll or A-line dress, preferably in pink, worn with huge flatform shoes. And by huge we mean huge.
Her hair may be more coiffed and a more elegant shade of gold and her make-up may be more refined, but Baby still looks pretty much the same. She can still be found in pastel pink and although she's swapped flatform trainers for platform heels, she's clearly still a big fan of skyscraper shoes.
Baby Spice, tell us your secrets of eternal youth!
Emma Bunton looks pretty much exactly the same as she did back in the late 1990s! What is your secret Baby Spice?
Mel B AKA Scary Spice
Mel B AKA Scary Spice was the leopard print queen in the 1990s
Mel B was loud, in your face and proud of her Northern roots.
And she was almost always to be found in leopard print.
With a pierced tongue and amazing hair, she was full of confidence and attitude. And while she wasn't actually 'scary' she was certainly sassy.
Oh and how could we forget her killer abs? They were always on display back in the 90s and we do not blame her for making the most of her midriff!
These days Mel is still a fan of animal prints, working them in a more sophisticated way. But she is still unmistakably the Scary Spice we know and love.
Mel B isn't quite so scary these days, but she still rocks leopard like no other...
Mel C AKA Sporty Spice
Sporty by name, sporty by nature! That's how we remember Spice Girl Mel C
Her love of tracksuits, football kit and trainers earned Melanie C the nickname 'Sporty Spice'.
The Liverpudlian was full of energy and high kicked her way through the late 1990s in her own tomboyish take on Girl Power. Mel C always seemed to be the most down to earth and relatable of the Spice Girls and let's face it, it was much easier to recreate her outfits than those of the other four.
Just a quick trip to any sports shop was all you needed to look like Mel C.
Twenty years later and what we love about Mel is that while she does glam up on a regular basis, you can still catch her in a pair of joggers.
We don't like change so it's comforting to see her looking just as sporty as ever.
Mel C can still be found in a tracksuit and trainers but wow, how amazing does she look when she's rocking the red carpet?
Geri Halliwell AKA Ginger Spice
Iconic! The Union Jack dress Geri wore at the BRITs has gone down in pop culture history
Geri Halliwell was often the spokesperson for the group and she definitely had her own ideas when it came to style.
Who could forget the Union Jack dress she performed in at the BRITs? Or the Elvis inspired two-piece?
There was always something of the showgirl about Ginger's outfits and she wasn't afraid to do her own thing.
But it's actually Geri who has evolved the most in terms of her look. Nowadays you'll find her in more classic, sedate ensembles that mean she wouldn't stand out from the other mums at the school gates. Other than the fact she is Ginger Spice of course, and always will be.
Ginger Spice then and now... They couldn't be more different!
Victoria Adams AKA Posh Spice
Pouty, pointy Posh Spice in her Spice Girls heyday
It's funny that all Victoria had to do was pout and point her finger to be nicknamed 'Posh'.
And while Mrs Beckham won't actually be part of the Spice Girls reunion tour, we couldn't leave her out of our round up.
One thing is for sure, Victoria quickly surpassed her reputation as a pop star becoming one half of one of the most famous couples in the world.
And her look has changed a hundred times over the last 20 years taking in bandanas, hair extensions and matching leather outfits with husband David along the way.
But thanks to the success of her eponymous label it's fair to say she's now a bona fide fashion icon and rarely puts a foot wrong.
She may not be on stage this year but she'll always be Posh Spice to us.
